Ummahaat- Weekly Mothers Meetup

Every Tuesday between 12pm and 2pm, we have a meetup for mothers and mothers to be where we discuss all things pregnancy, postpartum, motherhood parenting and so much more. It is a safe space to share the joys and difficulties of motherhood whilst reminding each other of Allah and rectifying our intentions.

Children are welcome to attend with their mothers and play with the toys provided. There is an Ummahaat group chat which any mother (or mother to be) is welcome to join to stay up to date with the meetups.

Seeds of Knowledge

Weekly on Sundays, interactive Islamic lessons are given for sisters by sisters. The lessons are from 1pm to 3pm and cover Tafseer, Aqeedah, Fiqh and Arabic. They are for students who are 16+ and the classes are free of charge. In order to test students’ understandings, exams are conducted at the end of each course.

Quran Classes

Between 9am and 10am on Mondays, Wednesdays and Thursdays the masjid have Quran classes for women. These are for learning to read the Quran and memorisation. A specific class following the Qaa’ida Nooraniya (a book teaching how to read the Quran) is held every Wednesday at 10am.

These classes are held weekly on Saturdays at 2pm and are taught by Shaykh Abdulbaasit.
