Who Are The Mashayikh That Are Coming
Shaykh Abd al-Haqq Turkmani is a world renowned scholar known for his diligent research and expertise in the science of verifying islamic manuscripts. He holds various ijāzāt in hadith which he had taken from a number of scholars including the hadith specialist Shaykh ‘Abd al-Ghafar b. Hasan al-Rahmäni (d. 2007) of Pakistan.
In 2010, the Shaykh was awarded the Naif Bin Abdulaziz Al-Saud International Prize for his contribution to a research paper entitled “Interaction with Non-Muslims According to the Prophetic Sunnah”. He continues to produce research papers in a variety of islamic sciences and is currently in the midst of publishing the works of the famous Andalusian scholar Ibn Hazm al-Qurtubi.
Dr. Farhan Al-Shammari is a prominent imam and khateeb affiliated with the Ministry of Islamic Affairs & Endowments in Kuwait.
The Sheikh holds a doctorate specialising in Islamic Jurisprudence and is well known for his active efforts in calling towards Allah.
Dr. Abdullah Shuraykah is a prominent imam and khateeb affiliated with the Ministry of Islamic Affairs & Endowments in Kuwait.
He holds a doctorate from the esteemed Islamic University of Kuwait and has actively pursued knowledge under the mentorship of renowned scholars like Sheikh Ibn Baz, Ibn Uthaymeen, and Sheikh AbdulMuhsin Al-Abbad, among several others.
Which books will be taught
Surah Al-Hujurāt (The Chambers) is the 49th chapter of the Qur’an, consisting of 18 verses. It was revealed in Madīnah and provides guidance on social ethics, interpersonal relationships, and community conduct. The surah emphasizes the importance of good manners, mutual respect, and the values of brotherhood among Muslims.
Usūl at-Tafsīr, authored by Shaykh Muhammad ibn Sālih al-‘Uthaymīn, is a well-known book that explains the principles and methodology of interpreting the Qur’an. It is a concise yet comprehensive guide that provides the foundation for understanding and deriving meanings from the Qur’an.
Ar-Rāiyyah fī as-Sunnah, versified by Abul-Qāsim az-Zanjāni is a classical Arabic poem that elaborates on the correct Islamic creed (‘Aqīdah) while emphasising strict adherence to the Sunnah of the Prophet Muhammad (ﷺ) and methodology of the early generations including the Companions and their successors (Salaf as-Sālih). Az-Zanjāni, an esteemed scholar of the 5th century AH, composed this poem to provide a concise, systematic, and poetic explanation of Islamic beliefs, making it easier for students to memorise and reflect upon.
