Men and Women Prayer Halls Renovation
Alfurqan Centre has opened it doors in 2009 to cater for the religious, spiritual and educational needs of the local Muslim community. One of the main activities that the masjid provides is to provide prayer facilities for the community. Since the masjid has opened its door the prayers halls has been largerly untouched. The prayer halls require renovation which will cost £120,000 for both women and men. The renovation consist of providing suspended ceiling and plastering the walls to make the masjid more welcoming for 1000’s of worshippers that attend the five daily prayers across the years.Â
As a result, we are kindly asking everyone who can to donate a one-off payment of £20, £30 ,£50 or £100 to support the Masjid to renovate the Men and Ladies prayer halls.

Stage 1
(Ladies Prayer Hall)
Stage one will be the renovation of the women’s section. This will cost £55’000. The renevations include:
1- New suspended ceiling
(£12’500).
2- Dry lining up to just above suspended ceiling (£30’500).
3- Extra cost for electrics and pipping
(£12’000).
Stage 2
(Men Prayer Hall)
  Stage one will be the renovation of the women’s section. This will cost £65’000. The renovations include:
1- New suspended ceiling
(£14’500).
2- Dry lining up to just above suspended ceiling (£34’500).
3- Extra cost for electrics and pipping
(£16’000).
